As we get ready for GrotonFest Fall 2026, our Good Neighbors of Groton campaign is celebrating the businesses and organizations whose support helps bring our community festival to life.

One of those Good Neighbors is Power Home Remodeling, a wonderful sponsor of GrotonFest Fall 2026.

Their support helps us create a place at GrotonFest where our community can get together and spend time with our neighbors. And when we learned more about the company behind the sponsorship, we discovered that supporting communities is an important part of who they are.

Power Home Remodeling describes its mission as realizing the potential in every home, person, and community it impacts. Through its POWER for Good initiatives, the company puts employees at the center of its philanthropy, giving them opportunities to support causes and organizations that matter to them.

And the impact is significant.

In 2025, POWER reported that 90% of its employees were engaged in its community-impact efforts, $8.6 million was granted, and more than 2,200 schools and nonprofit organizations were supported.

Their programs range from supporting local classrooms and nonprofits to volunteering in communities and partnering with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity.

Perhaps one of the most inspiring examples is POWER's longstanding partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which supports children and families affected by childhood cancer while funding innovative pediatric cancer research.

The partnership began in 2011, and by 2025, POWER employees had contributed more than $12.71 million to the organization. In 2025 alone, employees raised a record-breaking $2.85 million.

But their involvement goes beyond writing a check.

POWER employees participate in fundraising events, host lemonade stands, volunteer, organize auctions, and support local “Hero Families” affected by childhood cancer throughout the year.

That spirit of participation feels especially fitting for GrotonFest.

Our festival is built around the idea that a strong community isn't created by one organization or one event. It happens when businesses, nonprofits, families, volunteers, and neighbors choose to show up for one another.

Power Home Remodeling may be known for helping people improve their homes, but through their commitment to giving, they are also helping strengthen the communities around those homes.
