As GrotonFest Fall approaches, we’re celebrating the local organizations and businesses whose support helps make this community tradition possible. Through our Good Neighbor Campaign, we’re introducing the sponsors behind the festival—and sharing some of the ways they contribute to the community we all call home.
Today, we’re proud to introduce Emerson Health Groton.
HEALTHCARE CLOSE TO HOME
Located right on Main Street, Emerson Health Groton makes it easier for Groton residents and families to access high-quality healthcare without traveling far from home.
The health center brings primary care, laboratory services, and X-ray imaging together in one convenient location, providing patients with accessible care in a welcoming, community-focused environment.
But being a good neighbor means more than simply having an address in town.
For the team at Emerson Health Groton, it means becoming part of the lives of the people and families they serve.

SUPPORTING CONNECTION AND WELL-BEING
Emerson Health’s involvement in Groton extends beyond the walls of its health center.
As part of its broader work to help communities address loneliness and social isolation, Emerson supported The Groton Center with funding to bring residents together for a documentary focused on dementia and caregiver support.
It’s an example of how community health can mean much more than treating an illness. Connection, education, support, and simply creating opportunities for people to come together can all contribute to a healthier community.
Emerson Health also works with Groton-Dunstable Regional High School in connection with the Youth Risk Behavior Survey, which gathers important information from middle and high school students about areas including health behaviors, mental health, and risky behaviors. The most recent survey was completed in spring 2026.
Information like this can help communities better understand the experiences and needs of their young people—and make more informed decisions about how to support them.
GROWING ALONGSIDE GROTON
There is also exciting news ahead.
Through Emerson Health’s Transforming Health initiative, primary care services in Groton are expanding to help meet the needs of the growing communities the organization serves.
Additional primary care providers are joining the Groton practice, increasing opportunities for local residents and families to establish care closer to home.
It’s an investment not only in healthcare access, but in the long-term health of the community.
WHAT MAKES A GOOD NEIGHBOR?
A good neighbor is present.
They get to know the people around them. They recognize when their community’s needs are changing. And when they have an opportunity to contribute, they do.
From caring for generations of local families to supporting conversations around dementia and caregiver support, helping communities better understand youth health, and expanding access to primary care, Emerson Health Groton is helping care for Groton in more ways than one.
