Megan Donovan, host of the Groton Channel News Flash and champion for the Prescott Community Center, is excited to MC her favorite Fall Festival -GrotonFest Fall, 2025.

Celebrating New England’s destination for rural charm, unique retail, and vibrant arts and culture scene.

Megan, an Idaho native, has lived in New England since 2002, driving non-profit charitable efforts for disadvantaged youth, children with disabilities, and building communities through arts and culture. As Executive Director of the Prescott Community Center of Groton, Mass, Megan brings community-driven opportunities, learning and fun to Groton and the surrounding rural communities. Her joy comes from individuals “finding their jam”’ -- discovering their passions and fostering friendships.

“GrotonFest has something for everyone from artisanal gifts, great food, culture and art to performances and live music”, says Megan. “I can’t think of a better way kick-off to Fall with friends and family.”

Megan is married to her husband Duffy, has two wonderful children and a new daughter-in-law and enjoys spending time with her sheepdog, planting pollinator gardens, and fixing up her antique home.

As GrotonFest 2025 draws near, Megan’s energy and passion for connection remind us that this annual tradition is more than just a festival — it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and the charm that makes Groton so special. With her at the helm as MC, attendees can look forward to a day filled with discovery, joy, and the welcoming spirit that continues to make GrotonFest a highlight of the New England fall season.
